Why another blog?

I guess a mission statement is proper here about now. I have wanted to design a spot where discussions can be held on the major issues of the day in diverse fields of interest. I especially wanted a place to make predictions as to trends in industry, commerce, politicals, international relations and politics. I am planning on talking about many other subjects also, even the old standards like art, music - even old video games. I am very new at all this so please, as with the young and with the mighty, a little patience.

While I will I am guessing have, on occasion, link to rant blogs for things of interest, I would ask my dear gentle readers if I have any to take it easy: If you show me your gentle nature, I will always respond in kind.

It is, I fear, going to take some time before everything I have already organized is up and ready to roll. Again, I will need some pretty patient playmates before all this gets off the ground.
